Historic Sports Car Festival

June 21- 23, 2002 at California Speedway

June 21-23, 2002 - California Speedway will host the Historic Sports Car Festival presented by RACER Magazine. HSR - West has gathered over 300 historic cars that will run in 14 different groups.

Parnelli Jones will be the grand Marshall. In a tribute to Riverside Raceway this inaugural event will bring out Can Am cars, Indy Cars, F1's, Historic NASCARS, Trans AM cars and more!

Team GB400R will bring both race cars and are scheduled to compete for the trophy in group #12. Car #88 will be driven by Michael Noval and car #87 will be driven by Edward Inclan. The crew leaders (Nick Burr, Doug Gladney and John Coe) will be working round the clock this week in order to finish the final preparations in the cars.

Over 20,000 spectators are expected throughout the 3 day weekend, bring the family.
