NICK BURR
Crew Chief for Team RPM
|
Passion drives people
to success. It inspires you every morning and at the end of the day it
makes you feel like a million bucks.
This is what Nick Burr is all about!
Nick has been working
on cars from a very young age. His passion for cars has made him learn
and practice new ways to build, tune and repair a wide array of cars.
People who know him best often refer to him as a “human
dynometer”. He has
sensitivity for diagnosing and making almost any racecar better.
“At a young age I
would find ways to make toys better”, said Nick “I would look for
excuses to tear my bicycle apart and repair it in a way that would
make it better.”
Born in Los Angeles, CA
he attended the Santa Monica city college where he learned the technical
side.

| Nick at the
Thriathlon on Motorsports in Las Vegas 1993. We took 3rd place in
the BP Class. |
Nick talks about his
teacher Mike (who had a Pro Stock race car) and claimed that his entire
life revolved around his racecar. Mike
said that his car was a wife, a pet and child.
There was little he would like more than his car which Nick found
inspiring. Based on that Nick found that building hi performance motors
was what he wanted to do.
Nick has followed his
passion and is now preparing racecars.
He is Crew Chief for Team RPM and in charge of two Mustangs. He
has become a key man for the racing team. Not only can he build these
cars from scratch but also both drivers depend on Nick to make the right
combinations on race day. Read

His full time job with
RPM Engines consists of building custom engines. He utilizes techniques
from racing motors to benefit the mild to wild engines that are
currently sold at RPM Engines.

On the way to an
SCCA race in Holtville. We got snowed-in the day before the race |
Regardless of the
weather we came home with a 2nd place in the championship.
Thanks to the fine tuning from Nick! |
