Online-Racer.com has just purchased this ex-World Challenge racer. We intend to compete in SCCA World Challenge in 2001 although we are only allowed to run on 5 events due to the 5 year rule. This means that only cars 5 years old are allowed to run. At least we will get some experience running with the big boys.

Prior to World Challenge the car will run with "Open Track" American Iron Series starting on February 10 at Buttonwillow.  We will bring you up to date on all the improvements made to the car.

The cockpit has all the instruments needed. The driver seat is set back and lower to drop the center of gravity on the car.

Removable front nose for easy access to the engine compartment.  The radiator sits in an angle to improve the cooling as it picks air up from the bottom air inlet.

Front air splitter that helps the front down force.

This car will be campaigned as GB Mustang!  The first GB Mustang Race Car.  The complete body is being removed and a new GB body will be in place.   The car should debut at the Open Track event in Buttonwillow on 2-10-01. 

The GB Mustang will run in the American Iron Series that consist of muscle american made cars.

The doors are needed in order to align the front clip to the rear quarter panels.

The roof is now set in place and made as a non removable hard top (fastback). The wing is being fitted for height.

These are all the parts together. The car will be ready for primer as soon as the wing is set in place. Check out the 2.5" Cowl hood!  Its one of a kind for GB, it has a functional venturi for radiator cooling and rear opening that will be used as a fresh air inlet for the carburetor.
