REBUILDING THE GB400R

The GB400R Racing Team has persistently been rebuilding the race car after the incident on the last race. The next SCCA S/P race will be on the weekend of October 13th.

The accident broke the roof and therefore decided it was time for the new look. The new roof has been set in place and is 30 lbs lighter than the old one!  This should give us a couple of extra needed horses, not to mention that the roof line is very modern looking!

We have decided to go with the yellow and red color scheme (corporate colors) and as you see on the picture the second race car will be almost identical.

Both race cars will now have a pair of red stripes compared to the single stripe on the street cars.

Shown bellow are all three cars that will be making the rounds at a number of race tracks. From left to right, Nick Burr (crew chief) with Michael Noval's race car, Sam Gladney (GB Motorsports founder) with the street Roadster and Edward Inclan (driver) with the car he currently campaigns.

The man responsible for all the body work and paint job on all the race cars is John Coe. Although John may prefer the flames he originally painted on the car, he seems to be very excited about the new modern look. Great job John!

After the last race, the GB400R was in need of some rebuilding. The rear half of the car had broken loose from the chassis and the roof broke off at the a-pillar.

We decided that it was time to upgrade our racer! The new generation of the GB Roadsters will be built using a new platform.  In the upgrades, the roof has been revised and we loved how it looked on our other race car, so it will go on!

The roof had come off and the car is being prepped for the new one. Also since we are now going to run a 2 car team a new paint scheme will also be in place.

Keep checking for more updates!
