San Antonio, a Mini Vacation

My wife Sue always gets stuck on weird trips only because I want to go racing somewhere. I figured that this time I could mix business, pleasure and get some sight seeing.

The Alamo is what the city is known for, but the Hemisphere at the Plaza of the Americas is a lot more fun. You can take a ride to the top and have lunch or have drinks in the rotating restaurant.

This city has a little of old and new, to the left is the Fairmont hotel which was actually moved from its original location about 5 block away. The picture on the right is where Lakers keep beating the Spurs!

A vacation would not be complete without checking out what San Antonians do with their rides. We went to USA Motorsports looking for a front spoiler for the Mazda, and to our surprise we found that the body kits are big in Texas.
