This 1966 Ford Mustang K code fastback  was acquired by the current owner in 2007. Finished in Signalflair red over a black pony interior, the car is powered by a non matching 289ci HiPo V8 paired with a close ratio Toploader four-speed manual transmission. Features include a 9 inch Posi Traction rear axle, Font Disc Brakes a  tandem brake master cylinder,  PerTronix electronic ignition,American Racing Torq Thrust Wheels with white letter Good Year tires a push-button  radio. This K-code Mustang is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a, owner’s manual, and a clean Texas title in the owner’s name.
The K code went through a total restoration from 2007 to 2009 performed  professionally by Alamo Classic Ponies in San Antonio, Texas.
The K  was completely disassembled in preparation for paint and body the great majority of the body panels are original to the car, only some floor sections needed replaced the quarter panels are original to the car. The vehicle was originally Nightmist Blue with blue and white deluxe pony interior fold down rear seat drum brakes, now the K is Red with black interior and Trim decor was upgraded to look like a GT, fog  lamps rear valance, exhaust trumpets, gas cap,emblems.

289 Engine was rebuilt by Miller Machine Shop in San Antonio Tx. With the correct hipo pistons and 7/16 in. hipo rods correct hipo heads with screw in studs,harmonic balancer.
 
Transition is a rebuilt Toploader close ratio
 
Autolite 1:12 Carburetor is not original K code
 
Correct Posi 9 inch differential 3:50 gears    
 
Dual point Distributor converted to Per-Tronix  ignitor
